How this Ingredient-Tech Platform is helping startups push boundaries across the food value chain

We catch up with CSM Group's Managing Director ahead of his involvement at the HackSummit

FoodTech startups have a pivotal role in driving innovation.

That’s why CSM Group, a global ingredient-tech company comprising of both CSM Ingredients and HIFOOD, recently launched Generate.

Bringing added value to the F&B industry as an incubator of ingredient startups and food concepts.

“By offering application opportunities, cutting-edge facilities and commercial support to startups through Generate, we are confident we will be able to support many visionary innovators in validating their proofs of concept, with the collective aim of bringing ingredient innovation to the next level”, CSM Group Managing Director, Christian Sobolta tells us.

Through the Generate program they aim to help validate proofs of concept, find the perfect route to market and access new business networks.

And now they are keen to meet sustainable food startups offering different ingredient solutions to the food industry, as well as like-minded industries and forward-thinking investors.

That’s why Christian and the CSM Group team will be heading to the HackSummit this June 13-14th.

“We are excited to join in such a dynamic, unique event where we will be able to meet not only the most disruptive startups in the food ecosystem, but also like-minded industries and impact investors”, he shares with us.

He’ll be hosting an interactive workshop on ‘inspiring the future of ingredients’ where along with the Managing Partners of URIKA Partners and the Founders of PoLoPo and Gavan, they will ignite conversations and better explore how we can drive a more sustainable paradigm for startups.

“By giving them all of the means necessary to transform a business idea into a concrete success and thrive we can help them to flourish – something that goes well beyond “just” providing funds,” concludes Christian.

The interactive workshop takes place on June 13th at 1.30pm in the Climate Lab.
