The FoodTech World Cup is a global tournament to crown the most impactful AgriFoodTech Startup. Through regional Demo Days and the help of a jury, we will scour the globe for talent and select 9 Founders to pitch in front of hundreds of top industry investors live at the HackSummit.
The Demo Days are held online. The Finale takes place at the HackSummit in Lausanne, Switzerland on 13-14th June.
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
A total of 60 startups (10 per region) with the most promising solutions will be selected to pitch in their regional Demo Day.
Startup applications to pitch are open until 14th April. The final batch of selected startups will be announced on 25th April.
Yes, all finalists will receive 2x complimentary free passes. One for them and one for a colleague. Finalists should be fully ready to cover their cost (hotel + travel) for the event.
And if you've already bought your pass, of course we will offer you a full refund.
We’ve curated a panel of active investors across FoodTech to support with the selection of startups. Check out the Jury above.
By 22nd April, we’ll send an email to everyone who applied with an answer on whether they’ve been selected.
Unfortunately it’s a private demo day, only for the selected startups and the jury. We’d love to see you at the HackSummit where you’ll hear from the top 12 Founders.
Each company presents for 2 minutes and has the possibility to answer questions from the jury during a Q&A for 3 minutes afterwards. This is the case for both the Demo Day and the Final.
Slides are allowed and encouraged. We recommend keeping it up to 10 slides max.
Only the Hack Team, jury members and Givaudan teams will have access to the information you've provided in your application form.
